As if Mad Max 2 in a post-apocalyptic warehouse is not exciting enough, we can now confirm that Survival Bike Group the NI Rats will be taking to the streets for an exclusive appearance at this Saturday’s special event screening at T13!

What is Survival Biking you ask? As well as leaving behind a lasting legacy in film, the Mad Max series spawned a subculture of motorcycling heavily influenced by the post-apocalyptic, dystopian themes and images of the movies. The bikes are heavily modified, chopped and painted completely black resulting in some very menacing and badass looking rides.

“NI Rats had to be part of this event, Mad Max is a cult film for all the Rat and Survival maniacs. We grind our rides, let them rust, paint them black or camo, when spares are rare…we use what’s there, to get them ready for the apocalypse. They laugh at us because we are different, we laugh at them because they are all the same”

Fonsy, Gang Organiser
