Welcome to Sofa Shorts Day! Pull up a sofa and settle down to watch the island’s best new fictional short films. 

FILMS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY 4th APRIL FROM 10AM to MIDNIGHT.

You can view all 14 ‘in competition’ shorts and 7 ‘official selection’ shorts at your leisure.

The winner of the ‘in competition’ programme will be announced by our judging panel on Sunday 5th April at midday.

5. STARRY NIGHT
With strong use of
colour and naturalistic performances, this film follows a young woman as she prepares to leave her life behind and pursue her dream of studying in London.

Verging on the thriller genre, this one-shot film follows a lonely taxi driver as he takes a passenger’s private life into his own hands.

7. THE SILVER LINING
A boy has his heart set on a second-hand trumpet in this lovingly made, nostalgic look at music, childhood and the passing of time.
