Launch of the new Centre for Documentary Research at Queen's University Belfast.

A panel discussion on the state of contemporary documentary film, followed by wine reception.

The Centre for Documentary Research at QUB is a new initiative that offers a space to debate issues and organise activities around the study and practice of documentary film.

The team is interdisciplinary, with interests in Film, Languages, English and History, made up of scholars and practitioners of documentary film, with interests including mental health, conflict, archives, experimental film, and interactivity. The Centre intends to run workshops, screenings, seminars, and conferences; contribute to publications; and, of course, make documentary films.
