In the Same City, Under the Same Sky
A project consisting of 35 films made by Anna Konik between 2011 and 2015. As part of Invisible Barriers: Moving Images we will present an extract. All of the films focus on the authentic experiences of women seeking a home and a life away from war, terrorism, poverty, sexual oppression and violence.
GTG Summer School
This year Golden Thread Gallery handed its popular summer school over to Invisible Barriers: Moving Images. This group of 13 young people came up with a dark and surreal take on the barriers between paid and unpaid work with the astonishing Intern Number Three, a 5 minute film directed by Zhenia Mahdi-Nau.
