Continuing our handpicked season of films with the letter B in the title, we present the very culmination of over 3.5 billion years of animal evolution on planet earth, WILD BEASTS.

Long considered no use to anyone except as burgers and fashion items, the animal kingdom finally revealed it’s true purpose in 1984 by appearing in Frederico Prosperi’ s epic eco philosophical action splatterscape describing Gladys the Tiger’s lawless gang of PCP soaked zoo animal escapees on their rampage across downtown Frankfurt destroying, mutilating and soiling all in their path in search of their next Angel Dust fix.

WILD BEASTS not only astounded and entertained audiences in ’84 but also alerted them to the then mounting` problem of animal drug abuse in zoos worldwide.
