As part of the Women's Work Festival and our ongoing series in collaboration with The Black Box we are delighted to present: Patti Smith Onscreen.

Patti Smith is an american singer-songwriter, poet, author, and visual artist who became an influential component of the New York punk rock movement with her
1975 debut album Horses.

This event pays tribute to the great ‘punk poet laureate’ on screen, in concert and interviewed over a career that has spanned almost 50 years.

Come join us and the Godmother of Punk for an evening in The Black Box, featuring film footage of Smith in concert performing such well known songs as Gloria, Because the Night, Redondo Beach, Piss Factory and more.
