If the audio is not coming out of the television but is coming out of your laptop, ensure your audio settings are assigned to the correct output (eg. the name of the television).

You can also use a casting or display feature on your laptop. If you have a windows operating system, select F8 to open your screen sharing function. If you have an apple device, open your display preferences select AIRPLAY on the device you would like to use.
