Belfast Film Festival in partnership with South13 celebrated Halloween this week by offering horror fans (and some canine friends) the unique experience of watching some of their favourite scary movies.

On Sunday 29th we held our first dog friendly screening of 101 Dalmatians. Over 60 dogs were in attendance and fur-tunately there was enough pup-corn to go around. Clearly the barking lot enjoyed the event by raising the ruff with their a-paws.

The venue quickly transformed into Elm Street where Freddy Krueger stalked audience members, making their nightmares a reality.
Tim Burton fans enjoyed The Nightmare Before Christmas before the snow started to fall and the huskies appeared for the packed out screening of The Thing. A full on sensory experience for fans of the film in an antarctic themed S13. We had snow, we had flame throwers and not to mention the biggest treat of all, Dir. John Carpenter introducing the film via video link.
