Belfast Film Festival has welcomed the judgment of the Industrial Tribunals and Fair Employment Tribunal in the case of Sara O’Gorman (Morrison) v Belfast Film Festival Ltd, as published and notified to the organisation on 17 July 2026.
The Tribunal found unanimously in the Festival’s favour, ruling that the claimant’s claims are dismissed in their entirety.
Maeve McAdam, Belfast Film Festival Chairperson stated:
“We welcome the Tribunal’s judgment and are pleased that this matter has now concluded. This has been a serious and thorough process, and we recognise the time and consideration given to it by the Tribunal panel, our witnesses and our legal team.
