From one of the most acclaimed books in Israeli history comes Adam Resurrected, a moving story about the rediscovery of life in the aftermath of war.
Adapted from the novel that has been called Israel’s Catch-22 for its dark comedy and fierce intensity, the film is a provocative tale of friendship and redemption, irreverence and grief, humans and dogs and the quest for sanity in a world that seems to have gone mad. Starring Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Director: Michael McNulty Duration: 86 mins Set in Belfast, Empire was shot over 3 years on a zero budget by local film maker Michael McNulty. Max (Hugh Brown) is a wandering fool and Christmas is but another humdrum excuse for drinking and offending his friends, until he is captivated by Karen (Meabh Ivers), a vaudevillian can-can dancer who isn’t quite what she seems. This labour of love, is a filmic variation of the classic Greek myth Orpheus. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Director: Ken Wardrop Duration: 80 mins His and Hers is a beautiful and innovative documentary by award winning Irish director Ken Wardrop.
