The 17th Belfast Film Festival came to a thrilling end with the European premiere of Northern Ireland production Bad Day for the Cut which played to two packed out screenings in Movie House, Dublin Road.

Before the screening, Festival Director Michele Devlin thanked everyone who has made this year’s festival such a success, including audiences of over 8,000 – up 3% on the previous year.

Bad Day for the Cut was introduced by director/co-writer Chris Baugh, and co-writer/co-producer Brendan Mullin – formerly an usher in the very cinema in which his movie was having its premiere!

Also in attendance were stars Nigel O’Neill, Susan Lynch, Józef Pawlowski and Anna Próchniak.

Guests enjoyed an after-party in the Marcus Ward bar, sponsored by Jawbox Gin, Foxes Rock, Blue Moon and Clearsky Brewing.
