On the 31st of March Patrick Doyle lead the Ulster Orchestra, the Belfast Philharmonic and actors Fiona Shaw and Michael Maloney, in a celebration of the music created from his long standing collaboration with Sir Kenneth Branagh.
The concert was bookended with a pre-concert talk with Doyle, hosted by Tim Burden, and a workshop with the composer: From Concept to Screen, held the following day.

Fiona Shaw and Michael Maloney read extracts from the film versions of Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing, that Doyle and Branagh worked on together. Their readings were performed with the rousing accompaniment of the Philharmonic and Ulster Orchestras, in the spaciousness of the Waterfront auditorium.
