This weekend saw the BFF drive-in team high tailing it along the northern coastline, touring from Carrickfergus Castle to Donaghadee and finally to Portrush.
The popular programme of family favourite films was headlined by the Irish Premiere screening of Robot Overlords (2015), directed by Jon Wright and starring Gillian Anderson and Sir Ben Kingsley. The film’s director who gave a directing workshop for local schools on Friday, attended the Carrickfergus Castle screening. In his introduction Jon Wright talked about the beauty of the locations he shot in around the north, and outlined the particular sequences of the film shot in and around the site of the historic castle in Carrick.
BFF worked in partnership with Northern Ireland Screen, Film Hub NI and Cinemagic to deliver this highly popular series of events and workshops.
